Terms & ConditionsRedstone Dog Training, LLC | trainredstone.com | Last updated October 10th 2026
1. Agreement to These Terms
By booking a service, paying a deposit, or attending a session with Redstone Dog Training (“Redstone,” “I,” “we,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. They apply to all services offered through this website or through Square. If you don’t agree, please don’t book.
2. What We Offer
Redstone provides private, one-on-one dog training in your home, serving the Chicago North Shore. Our programs are built for doodles, but we welcome dogs of any breed. Before you pay, I’ll confirm the program, number of sessions, and price with you.Training only sticks when you keep it going between sessions. You agree to do the assigned homework, follow my handling instructions, and make sure everyone in your household follows the same plan.
3. Payments, Deposits & Refunds
All payments are processed through Square. Redstone never stores your card information.Once your first session has taken place, program fees are [non-refundable], since I’ve reserved that time on my calendar for you.If I cancel or can’t finish your program for reasons within my control, you’ll get a refund for any sessions I didn’t deliver.Prices quoted after your initial consultation are good for [30 days].
4. Scheduling & Cancellations
Please give at least [24 hours] notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.Sessions canceled with less notice, or missed because nobody’s home, are forfeited. They are not refunded or rescheduled. If I need to reschedule because of weather, illness, or an emergency, you won’t be charged for the makeup session.Sessions in your program must be used within [6 months] of your first session unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5. Training Methods & Equipment
Redstone uses a balanced approach. That means rewards and clear, fair corrections both have a place in training. Depending on your dog and your goals, I may use leashes, long lines, flat or slip collars, prong collars, and electronic collars.I won’t use any training tool on your dog until I’ve explained it to you and you’ve said it’s okay. You’re responsible for providing safe, properly fitted equipment unless I tell you I’m providing it.I’m not responsible for equipment that fails if I didn’t supply it.If you’re ever uncomfortable with a tool or method, tell me and we’ll talk through other options.
6. Safety & Your Dog’s Behavior
Before your first session, you must tell me about any history of biting, snapping, guarding, or aggression toward people or other animals. Leaving this out is a breach of these terms. You’re responsible for your dog, your guests, and your property at all times, whether or not I’m there.Children must be supervised by an adult during sessions.Report any injury to a person or a dog right when it happens.I may decline, pause, or end services if I believe it isn’t safe for anyone involved. If I end a program for safety reasons, I’ll refund any sessions I didn’t deliver. Some issues, such as aggression and resource guarding, may need a vet or veterinary behaviorist to evaluate your dog before or during training. I may require this.
7. Health & Vaccinations
Your dog must be up to date on vaccinations and flea, tick, and parasite prevention. Puppies must have started their vaccine series as directed by your vet. Let me know before a session if your dog has been sick, injured, in heat, or around a dog with a contagious illness, and tell me about any allergies or medical conditions. It’s your responsibility to make sure your dog is healthy enough to train, and I may reschedule a session if I think it’s best for your dog.
8. Results
Every dog is different. Results depend on your dog’s history, how consistent you are, and how well you follow through. Redstone does not guarantee any specific result or timeline. Problems like reactivity, leash pulling, and jumping are managed and improved through training, not cured, and they can come back if you stop maintaining the training.
